We have made a great start to our Ancient Egyptian topic! So far we have made clay cartouches of our names and created a headdress for our profile photos. We have looked at the importance of the River Nile and most recently explored the discovery of Tutankhamen's tomb by Howard Carter. Connected to this, we have written our own curses that could have afflicted a tomb raider, created a diary entry in role as Tutankhamen and written an account for a newspaper as Howard Carter detailing his amazing discovery. Most recently, we sketched some of the objects found in the tomb and described them. Lots of hard work!! I am very proud of all the wonderful writing class 9 have recently been doing: they have really shown imagination! Keep it up guys!
