F2 Forest Fun in the Sun

F2 Forest Fun Spring Scavenger Hunt.  

F2 created treasure sticks and nature bracelets to record the signs of Spring discovered during our scavenger hunt.  The children used ID charts to identify the items theuy found including hawthorne, cherry blossom and leaves unfolding on the trees.  

Lots of fun was had taking part in the 'Big Bug Hunt' . Children collected minibeasts including spiders, beetles and worms then studied them before returning them carefully to their habitats.
