Read Write Inc

In January this year we began to introduce a new approach  to teaching phonics and reading called 'Read,Write Inc' to Lakeside.  We are confident that this will help to improve reading and writing outcomes for all of our children.  On Wednesday 11th March, we will be holding short meetings for interested parents at 8.30 and 2.40 to explain this approach and share information about how you can support your children at home. 

The attached letter gives more information about the Read Write Inc approach. We hope to see lots of you at the meeting but, in the meantime, please see your child's class teacher or Mrs McCrae if you have any questions.
