Our local walk

We had a super local walk to launch our Urban Pioneers topic. We set off from school and soon found ourselves walking past the aircraft museum, St Peter's School, a park, a police station and lots of restaurants...all within ten minutes! We then headed towards the Dome, spotting Asda and the new bike track. Then we headed through a housing estate and past Hall Cross Secondary school. Next we walked around the lake, noticing the offices and hotels around it. The children raced up a giant hill and could see the Keepmoat Stadium and XP school. Finally, we walked back to school (feeling pretty tired!) What a great morning.
