Composer of the Half-Term Summer 1 Ladysmith Black Mambazo

We hope you enjoyed last half-term's piece of incredible music by Anna Meredith.

This half-term we are looking forward to finding out about the amazing singing group from South Africa, Ladysmith Black Mambazo. Their music is, again, recommended in the Model Music Curriculum. Their musical style is "acapella" amd have been performing together since the 1960s. The title of the song is "Lelilungelo Ngelakho" which is all about the choices that people make. The harmonies are confident and beautiful.
