T shirt design competition
Staff at Lakeside Primary Academy have recently updated their First Aid training. When
completing the training, we discussed as staff the difference a defibrillator can make in an
emergency situation. We considered all the percentages on saving someone’s life in an
emergency; chest CPR has an approximate 8% success rate; the highest percentage of
saving someone’s life is a defibrillator at 32%. We think those figures speak for themselves
and would like to fundraise to have a defibrillator on site for our school community. We
need to raise in the region of £2500.
We would like children to design a sports kit for Team Lakeside, the entry fee for the
competition will be £1. If you would like to enter the competition, please pay £1.00 via
Parent Pay and select the ‘Lakeside Competition’ payment item. Entries can be submitted
through the website, Facebook Page, on paper to the school office or emailed to the
admin email account. All children who submit a design and an entry fee payment will be in
with the chance of winning a Sports goodie bag.
